Gravel Road on the CRGA

About

The Coast Range Gravel Adventure is a 4 day bikepacking tour from Corvallis to the Coast and back taking mostly old logging roads including the C2C Trail

History and Background

Club members have been riding various road routes to the coast for years, but a route that avoids long stretches of highway has always been elusive. One way you could go was up to Connors Camp on Mary's Peak, and then down to Harlan. This route had some tough climbing and then a descent on a not very friendly logging road. Then in 2016 the C2C Trail was completed from Corvallis to Big Elk Campground. This made the route much easier and the excellent signage they put in allowed us to ride these old logging roads without getting lost. So in October 2018 we ran the first annual CRGA and it was a big success.

Who can ride?

The ride is open to all MVBC members. Non members who want to ride should just join the club. This is not an easy ride and probably wouldn't be much fun for small children, but a fit teenager who likes mountain biking and camping would probably have a blast.

Registration

Once registration is open we will post a link here.
